ReeClaimed Living provides safe, structured, and substance-free housing for women and men who are committed to rebuilding their lives in recovery. We offer more than a place to stay. We provide a stable and supportive environment where residents can strengthen their sobriety, develop healthy routines, practice personal responsibility, and work toward lasting independence.

We believe that a person’s past does not determine their future. With stability, support, and the right environment, people can reclaim their purpose and create a new beginning.
Why ReeClaimed Living?
Completing detoxification or a treatment program is an important achievement, but returning to an unstable or substance-filled environment can make maintaining recovery difficult.
ReeClaimed Living helps bridge the gap between treatment and independent living. Residents have an opportunity to continue working toward their recovery goals while living in a home built around structure, accountability, mutual respect, and personal growth.

Who We Serve
ReeClaimed Living serves adult women and men who:
Are committed to maintaining sobriety
Are willing to live in an alcohol- and drug-free environment
Can follow house rules and respect fellow residents
Are able to participate safely in a shared living environment
Are motivated to work toward stability and independence
Are engaged in, or willing to engage in, recovery-supportive services
Each potential resident will complete a screening process to determine whether ReeClaimed Living is an appropriate placement.
Recovery Housing With Purpose
ReeClaimed Living is a recovery residence and does not provide detoxification, medical care, transportation, or clinical substance use treatment. Residents are encouraged to continue participating in counseling, outpatient treatment, peer-support meetings, medication management, employment services, or other outside programs that support their individual recovery plans.
The Meaning Behind Our Name
ReeClaimed Living was created from both personal loss and hope. The name honors the memory of founder Shakima Dupont’s late cousin, Desaree’, while representing the opportunity for every resident to reclaim their identity, stability, confidence, and future.
The extra “e” in ReeClaimed carries Desaree’s memory forward and serves as a reminder that every life has meaning and every person deserves the opportunity to begin again.
Meet the Founder
ReeClaimed Living was founded by Shakima Dupont, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience supporting individuals and families through mental health challenges, crisis situations, and major life transitions.
Through her professional work, Shakima has witnessed how limited access to safe and stable housing can interfere with a person’s ability to maintain progress. She created ReeClaimed Living to help close that gap and provide people in recovery with a supportive place to take their next steps.
ReeClaimed Living is a Black woman-owned business rooted in compassion, accountability, community, and the belief that recovery is possible.
